Upgrading Olympus CKX41 to fluorescence
Introduction of Olympus CKX41
The CKX41 is an inverted microscope suitable for regular cell observation including GFP and other fluorescence applications. Olympus launched it some years ago and has a wide range of users, Now it has been discontinued and replaced by Olympus CKX53.
The original Olympus CKX41 fluorescence configuration is 50W mercury illumination, and the package has been discontinued. Users are looking for alternative fluorescence upgrading solutions.

How do we upgrade the Olympus CKX41 to fluorescence?
A third-party fluorescence module in an LED light source is a good replacement for a mercury fluorescence illuminating system. There are advantages even compared to the original mercury fluorescence illuminating.
To install the LED module to the CKX41, no structure or components need to be modified or added, it is a whole package with all necessary accessories. Users can finish the installation easily by watching the installation video or user manual.
There are installtion photos at customer side to show the well done system.
